How to Clean Blood out of Clothes


1. Keep the stain wet, rinse out under the tap in cold water.
2. If the stain is on a mattress, sponge out with water.
3. If the stain is old, soak in cool salt water for a long time (several hours).
4. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Soak again in water and with some ammonia.
6. Launder as above.
7. If the stain persists, try soaking in an enzyme solution for half an hour, then launder.
8. As a last resort use bleach on white cotton and linen.


How to Remove Grass Stains from Clothing


1. Simply pre-treat with some vinegar.
2. Machine wash.


How to Clean Sweat Stains out of White Clothes


1. Fill a bucket with warm water.
2. Add a couple of cups of hydrogen peroxide.
3. Add the clothes and soak for an hour.


How to Clean Ink from Clothes


1. Read the garment label first for any precautions.
2. Sponge the area around the stain with a liquid detergent or alcohol.
3. Then apply the alcohol directly to the stain.
4. Place clean towels on a flat surface.
5. Place the stain face down the towels.
6. Apply alcohol or solvent to the back of the stain.
7. Replace the towels frequently.
8. Repeat the steps until there is no further ink removed.
9. Rinse thoroughly.
10 Rub clothing with a heavy duty liquid detergent and launder using the hottest water safe enough for fabric.
11. Make sure you check for colour-fastness first.
12. Inks on white fabric can be removed with a dye stripper.


How to Clean Chocolate from Clothes


1. Make sure you read any care instructions on the clothing label.
2. Spray the stain with a prewash spray.
3. Rub with detergent.
4. Launder.
5. Relaunder if stain is still present.


How to Clean Lipstick from Clothes


1. Fold some paper towels, and place the stain face down on the towels.
2. Sponge the area with a dry-cleaning solvent.
3. Replace the towels often.
4. Allow it to dry.
5. Rinse.
6. Rub wtih a heavy-duty liquid detergent and then machine wash.
7. If the treatment is not so successful, try using an all-fabric bleach and repeat the above.
